I just watched The Karate Kid awhile ago and it rocks! I like the tandem of Jackie Chan (Mr. Han) and Jaden Smith (Dre Parker), the natural humor and somewhat the tear-jerking dramas they gave the viewers . The movie is not just about Karate or Kung Fu, it's also about attitude, perseverance and standing up when you can't almost get up. This is the movie trailer. Enjoy!

I'm always afraid of physical pain. Like having tooth extractions, curing wounds, etc. It seems that I have a low tolerance when it comes to physical pain.
But never in my wildest dreams would I think of engaging into a blood letting activity! The sight of needles alone already gives me pain, an imaginary pain, of course. But I did gave my blood away. And it felt very rewarding . For two main reasons: I conquered my fear and i am of help to those who need blood. Dang! I'm so proud of myself.
But to tell you, the whole process was so funny! I received lots of encouragement
especially when the nurse started to put in the needle. My supporters, who were also my audience, were all eyes on me. So I closed my eyes, took a deep breath and held my office mate's hand, and then bang! It didn't hurt! Maybe because of the fact that I anticipated a big amount of pain and only to find out that it didn't hurt even a bit.
This was really one of the funniest yet rewarding experience I had! But salute to me!
